Pearl of the Heart is an inspiring organization nestled near Ubud, Bali, dedicated to empowering children with disabilities through physical therapy and education. The story of its inception is truly remarkable.
It all began with Ms. Siki and her son, who faced physical and developmental challenges. Through dedicated support, her son defied expectations and secured a job in the hospitality industry. This success story quickly spread through neighboring villages.
Soon, families began arriving at Ms. Siki's doorstep, their children in tow, hoping for similar opportunities. Recognizing the profound need in her community, Ms. Siki embraced the challenge and opened her home to these families.
Today, the organization works to help children with disabilities reach their full potential. It's not just about therapy; it's about creating pathways to brighter futures for these children and their families.
Pieta first opened its doors in Lucan, County Dublin in 2006. Since then they have seen and helped over 70,000 people in suicidal distress or engaging in self-harm.
Pieta’s vision is a world where suicide, self-harm and stigma have been replaced by hope, self-care and acceptance. Their Mission is to support people and communities in crisis by providing freely accessible, professional services to all.
Pieta now operates in 20 locations across Ireland, employs over 300 therapists and support staff, and the demand for their service is increasing.
Warrior Retreats is an initiation for leaders all over the world and dedicates an enormous part of its resources to give back to the lands and people of Peru with their main focus being disadvantaged families, disabled/terminally ill children and women impacted by human trafficking. Warrior serves those in the Amazon, Cusco, and the Sacred Valley partnering with San Juan Dios Hospital, Mother Theresa’s Home, Casa Khuyana - Peru’s first-ever hospice home for children and more.
